theres this girl i like we started flirting with each other( i was under the impresion if your single and ready for a r/ship you flirt back to let the other person know your available for dates) so after weeks of hints and flirts i said thats it im going to ask her out so i did but she says oh sorry but im already taken. so whats the deal with that after all that cat and mouse i get the cold shoulder whats up with that

There could be a few things. Maybe her man doesnt show r the amount of attention she wants. Maybe she just likes the attention period. Heres what u do, if she continues to flirt hold back a lil, let her know u rnt a fool, if she starts actin weird she probably is taken and is now uncomfortable. Either way she probably still play cat and mouse, BE THE CAT!!!!!!!!!!

Flirting is just that. It isn't supposed to be serious. It is supposed to be a fun way to interact with the opposite sex. I do that even when I am in a relationship, but it doesn't go further than there. If she is taken, then you move on to the next girl. A player prospects lots of different women and not just one.

Maybe she is in a bad realtionship. Maybe she wants her cake and eat it too. Maybe you were reading more into the flirting than was there. Maybe she likes you and she is trying to get out of her relationship but also doesn't want to hurt you in the meantime. Maybe, maybe, maybe...you could always ask or (which I would suggest), be her friend and let her come along. Keep being you but don't wait around either. Good luck.

Some people are just flirts. You didn't say exactly how she was flirting. Sometimes people aren't even aware that they ARE flirting. Sometimes, a person assumes that it's all just in fun but the other takes it seriously.

Girls like to flirt regardless of whether they are taken or not. Teasing guys and stringing them along strokes their egos. Girls thrive on attention. And it they say they don't then they are lying! It won't be the first time this happens to you or the last. Sorry for your luck!!!

sometimes a person will flirt to get their ego stroked, just for fun, the sad thing is though someone usually ends up getting hurt in the end.
