I'm 21 still at home and don't plan on leaving it's to expensive, I'm in school and work both full time but i really need to get thru school to make some money, don't kick em out unless there just sittin on there butt doin nothin! I help my mom out when she's needs my dad is never home cuz he's a long haul truck driver so at the same time I can't leave my mom alone ALL the time either ya know it works both ways, if there not lazy why boot em out, they don't sound lazy either if there good boys enjoy them while you can, cuz sooner or later they will be married with there own kids. And it's alot easier to move out of your parents house when you get married then a roomies house ya know, once you hit 21 now a days people start getting married and engaged!

I think that if you are happy and your sons are happy, and you have raised three really good boys then all of you are very fortunate. Be sure your last words when they leave the house every day are "luv you". My sons have lost five friends to accidents and cancer the past several years, so don't let anybody make you feel like they need to be thrown out of the house if you have a healthy, emotionally stable family - regardless of their age.

I don't see anything wrong with that as long as they don't depend on you for everything. If they are working, I hope they help by settling some bills and with household expenses. But if they are just sitting in the house, not doing anything, I think you have to tell them to go look for a job. If they are still at college, or university, it's fine.

In my country (Thailand) and the countries (Taiwan, Japan) that I stayed earlier in my life, it is normal for boys to stay with their parents even after they finish college. Some of them would get married and still stay with parents -- if the house is big enough. There is nothing wrong at all. But if the boys don't go to school or don't work, then there is problem.

I think that it could be an opportunity for them to build a business without having to worry about draining expenses. So, if they're productive and building their lives, that's a good thing and you could extend the cut-off date to perhaps 25. You might want to charge them a small to modest amount for rent.
However, if they're behaving like bums, it would probably be better to kick them out.

Hey! It’s there home too, right?
Your family, but it’s your house!
Why should they live somewhere else and pay a landlord when they can pay you?
You need tot have a conference with them and determine a monthly rent, food, lodging, ECT.
I insisted that I pay rent to my mom when I got a job, before then I paid with chores.
It’s only fair! Right!!!
