Pride Power & Money

God gives us the ability to do things like split atoms, and clone things. But he created the atom and the things we whish to clone.
The real danger here is what man does with that knowledge.
With the atom he can keep people warm, give them power to run things, and even light their way, or make craters where they used to stand.
I don’t think cloning has never succeeded on a organism as complex as a human. Some group has clamed to have done it, but in the end, failed to prove it. And the animals we have cloned have had shortened life spans and many other problems. When we do learn to clone people it won't be such a bad thing, but then someone will try to make the clones property and start slavery all over again, or use the people they create as guinea pigs for experiments or something. Before we learn how to make humans, perhaps we should take some time learning how to treat humans first. God made man and animals. The fact that we desire to copy them, highest form of flattery. Besides, we make people now, but the process is more random and a lot more fun, and the zealots want to control that way as well.

Playing God would be creating life from scratch. All that happens in cloning is basically taking a little piece of a living organism and severing it from the organism itself, and then letting it grow. Cloning isn't creating life, but manipulation of it.

With all of the many miracles that medical science is bringing us everyday, should we assume that that would be playing God as well? Scientists are using cloning techniques to recreate completely separate organs ripe and ready for transplant without even needing to be grown off of the backs of mice. Nothing wrong with that surely, is there?

Humans haven't actually been cloned... some groups have claimed that they successfully cloned humans, but those claims turned out to be false.

Also, in what sense is it playing God? Sheep create new sheep all the time. How is cloning playing god any more than selectively breeding dogs to create particular dog breeds?

This is a science no more no less. You can ask the same question why we are flying?! This is a discovery, not an intention to be god. We can use the result for medicine, to treat cancer and some other difficult disease.
I know you fray but we are created by the god and cann't go behind him. Think about the benefits of this science.

because we can, because we want to know what the limits truly are. and we aren't cloning humans, no one has, and it won't happen for a very long while.

as to playing god, you are obviously assuming that there is a god whose work we are imitating, which is just a guess really, so that argument doesn't carry a whole lot of weight, try appealing to facts and ethics

arent we playing god then by porposely breeding them, its been hapening for centuries, we just had different methods, and i think we could bring back some extict species that have been killed off by humans as far as cloning humans go i think as long as its healthy with no porposefull defects or disease then why not its still creation people are just afraid of the "wrath of god" and the "dont mess with nature" concept but if its healthy and happy whatever it is then i know that no one is doing anything wrong.

so by altering genetically vegetables, we must be playing God as well.
If you believe in God in any form, it is he the source of such knowledge, remember. Basing oneself in religious books to contest cloning, its the same as many people have done to justify racism, the inferior role of women etc.
developing cloning research, with ethics and basic morals, can help to cure many deseases and help people who cannot have children being able to have.
It's not playing god. it's called "evolving". and then, we all have a say on how far it can go. it's called democracy (not the american one)

the Anunaki who was called the creator ,who was not a god but a learned refugee from mars before it lost its orbit ,cloned the Adams race to mine gold for him .and we came from that

neanderthaler ,cromagnum, homo erectus and the rest were his genetic experiments .(they all lived at the same time and in the same place ,near the oldest gold mines in the world,Zimbabwe)

and if our creator played god ,why cant we ,is this not a hypocritical notion like so many of the Christian opinions.

Because they are infiltrated by an ungodly spirit
So we better get ready for there is another crisis
coming just like the great Deluge
A time of intense personal suffering is coming
unto the entire world
And all those who have insulted God
are all about the woe
for the sickness is deep and the free will abused
