In the United States its obvious that the religious wrong is constantly manipulated for political gain.

All one has to do is give a little lip service to the Christ Cultists community, perhaps throw a little cash their way and you have an instant voter base. Sure they're idiots, but they're idiots who vote. Its no surprise that the masters of corruption (the GOP) are masters at this, not that the democrats are any different but they seem to have some semblance of whats right and wrong.

Then you have the actual religious leaders who run around with whores (not that theres anything wrong with that) and use their religious organizations as tax shelters for diamond mines in oppressive third world nations or ask for money because they claim their god will kill them if they dont meet some quota.

And sure enough they eat it up.

So whats the deal, are you stupid? Who am I kidding, sure you are.

They like it. I think it's a sexual thing with all of Christianity.

You'd proably get better answers if you bottled the acid a bit. The GOP and the "Moral Majority" are using one another to further their adgendas. They've almost gotten synonymous, but not quite. That one detail is what is causeing moderate Repubs to distance themselves from the Theo-cons.

As for the religious leaders...what do you expect? Power can corrupt, and these guys accumulate a lot of it.

Robert, like you I believe that a lot of Christians are being conned into believing the political lies. These GOPers will say anything just to get elected.

But I find your post offensive. We're not cultists. and there are good reasons for our Christian beliefs.

Just remember this, religion in itself it not the evil. It's the person's heart and how we react to the situations. If most Christians followed the Bibles answer to handling stress and conflict, the world would be a lot nicer place to live. Instead, we get "in the flesh" where we forget to follow Biblical principles on dealing with stress andn we fly off at the mouth. It might surprise you to know that the Bible has the greatest advice on dealing with conflict and stress. It's just that most of us forget to follow these teachings.

Welcome to America, where everyone has the right to an opinion.
I am agnostic, but I also believe that all these "stupid" Christ Cultists have every right to believe what ever they feel is right for them.
We are all just trying to make it through this experince we call life the best way we know how. If people find love and comfort in a particular belief, who are you (or I for that matter) to judge them for it?

I don't know if you'd believe me anyway, so I don't know why I'm WASTING my time with you, BUT.... I never gave God much thought until the day I lay on the grass outside my house clutching my chest finding myself begging God not to take me yet. Then suddenly the idea of God has new meaning to me. So I begin investigating this God, because I'm a skeptical type of person. I imagine if you're lucky, you might live through a tramatic episode one day and decide to investigate this God thing too. If you're smart you'll investigate it until you come to full closure on a conclusion. That means you won't give up until you've exhausted every thing you could possibly check.

Unfortunately, you are looking to men to be models for the Christian faith. Although that is our calling, if you do this, you will continually be let down.

One should look to the life and teachings of Jesus Christ for models and an example.

Stupid? Well, let's say I am completely wrong about this faith thingy. No loss - maybe I had a few names called and missed out some good parties. No biggie. But, if you are wrong, there will be hell to pay. Literally.

Hope you are on the right side... God Bless!

This whole nonsensical piece of garbage you typed is nothing more than rants and raves by a biased opinionated mind which is totally ignorant of any knowledge about what Christianity is all about.... and the funny thing is, JESUS loves you anyway.

So which cult do you belong to? The Smugitarians? Why are you so angry? There are plenty of Christians that don't follow the right wing agenda.
