Milk does no long term harm..If he tolerates it well, small amounts won't hurt..but, watch for loose stools, and stomach cramping, farting, and respiratory problems..If any of those show up, you will know to quit the milk...he can handle it fine one day, and suddenly not be able to digest it the next, as the enzymes that break down the lactose can be depleted... It would help him if he had a little (teaspoon) plain yogurt on the days he has milk.

OK since dogs are lactose intolerant i guess the answers would have to be NO!! You can though buy special dog milk from stores and vets etc..By giving them cows milk it will only give them the runs and a fricken huge tummy ache! Personally i would not want that at all.

Is your dog a cow? Is he still nursing? If you answered no to these, then avoid giving the milk. Most animals become lactose intolerant after they are weaned, because they can eat normal food, and no longer require milk from their mothers. Therefore, they no longer require the enzymes to break down the sugars in milk, so the body ceases to make them.
Humans are the only animal that continues to drink milk well beyond weaning, and certainly the only species that routinely consumes milk from another species.
Its up to you if you give your dog dairy products, but most dogs do not digest them well. It can cause diarrhea, so watch your dog closely and discontinue if you note it.

I would not do that.Try some cottage cheese but dont use regular milk.I know that they make you feel bad when they look at you with those cute little eyes but just resist.Theres some homemade people foods that you can prepare for your dog that your dog is aloud to have though.

My dog drinks milk and nothing is wrong with him. It depends on how the dog reacts to it and its body. If it was fine then no worries.
