No, Jesus said it's not what goes into a person but what comes out that defiles them, in other words, God isn't as interested in the music you sing, or listen to, but where your heart is, and whether or not you are seeking justice and compassion for others.

I personally am athiest, but for a while I was unsure, and I always thought if there was a God, he/she wouldn't waste his time just passing judgement on a bunch of beings he supposedly created in the first place. What's the point? If he/she did though, I wouldn't think little things like that would matter- it'd be the big picture that mattered, wouldn't it?
Then again, if there's a God, and if there's a heaven and hell, I'm not gonna end in heaven... so...

I was in a church congregation where the rules were very strict 60's style rules... e.g. Girls wear skirts all the time, no jewelry except for wedding bands, blah blah blah blah blah....
I have to admit it's funny that you admit that you're Emo.... but hey... if you like Rob Zombie then you like Rob Zombie... If you love God, then you love God!
So ROCK ON!

I'm not familiar with his lyrics. Do his songs glorify sin? There are many Christians who listen to different types of music and you can find some Christian emo/punk to download for free on the Free Stuff page @ http://web.express56.com/~bromar/ under the music section.
It's not the music that is wrong to like, it's just wrong to like to listen to people who are singing about having sex outside of marriage or engaging in getting drunk and/or using drugs and to be giving the "amen" to those lyrics in your mind as you listen.

Nope. I have given my life to Jesus and listen to Cold, Metallica, and a lot of darker alternative music. Music is just like any other form of art. It can be observed for it's artistic value and people simply like different kinds of music. The story of Lot and his daughters is a lot less decent than Rob Zombie, and it's in the Bible.
Now, it is possible for music to be a sin, but it's possible for anything to be a sin if it is abused.

The question is--does the music bring you closer to God or take you further away from Him? Do the songs speak of things God would approve of? Or would God look down on it and say "That is not good." ? If music encourages things that are sinful, then I'd say it's probably not good.
How does the music make you feel? Is it uplifting, or does it make you feel angry, empowered, rebellious..???

You admit to being emo? That's usually a label someone else calls you. Anyway, Rob Zombie is in it for the cash.
