Fishermen like shellfishies because they are abundant in the oceans, and they sell for a good price, especially the shellphishies that are spelled with a "ph" instead of the shellfishes which are spelled boringly, although some people confuse shellfishes with animals such as squid and octopus which are not technically shellfish, and other people confuse shellfish as possessing shells similar to exoskeletons such as on insects, but shellfish is an interesting descriptor nonetheless, and when a fisherman sees a shellfish he or she says, "Hey look here, I got myself a shellfish" but when he sees a shellphishie he or she says, "Lookee heree, I got myself a shellphishie!"

Children like to eat shellphishies because, well, they're yummy.
