Forget French. Where are you going to use it? Spanish is now the second language of this country and also a major world language.

OK, that was the easy part. Now for the bad news. You are not going to learn a language just from the Internet or your computer. You need to have other people who speak it so you can practice with them and get use to hearing different voices. Just as English has many different accents so does Spanish. I'm on my 3rd language so I know what I am talking about.

Here are some links to get you started. The first one has both a word and a sentence every day spoken by a native speaker. The second link is to my favorite language program. Pimsleur. Don't look at the price. It will scare you. :) It is 90 lessons, 30 minutes each and by the end you will have a good basic vocabulary. The 3rd link is to another major language provider. And they aren't cheap either. I have used both and prefer Pimsleur but RosettaStone has helped me a lot also. A free site you can check out is right here on Yahoo. Go to their international page and they offer both Mexico and Argentina. Of course, it will mean nothing until you begin to learn the language.

Just remember, you HAVE to practice speaking it with real people. Buena suerte y espero que aprendes mucho.

Well, they both have their down and upside:

Spanish has so many rules of grammar that are very hard to learn, but if you learn Spanish, your doors will be opened since the Spanish speaking population in the world is a lot higher than that of many other languages.

The French accent is very hard to learn, but chicks dig French a lot.

good luck.

Well Spanish was my first language and my second was english and that was very hard to learn,so since you already know english maybe you can learn italian or spanish if you prefer, but spanish is very hard because all the past tense and present tense and all that, my madre talked to me in spanish while she was pregnant with me,than when she had me nothing but spanish then i just started talking in spanish,it's good to learn while you are young, but since you are older it may take a long while.I don't think you can learn any language on the net,it won't teach you everything

I learned French as a second language in high school and on faculty I'll take Spanish. I like it and I'm sure it's easier than French. Both languages are beautiful, though. Good luck!

Spanish is easier, but French is more interesting. I'd go with French, but it's up to you. You should base your decision on which language you'll come more across with.

i tihnk that German is a great language to learn. i'm starting my GCSE's this year doing french and german.

of the two, german is so much easier.

i'd say that geramn would probably be gd on the net becasue, bar a few, the words are pronouced how they are spelt.

one thing to remember, german people use a "v" sound whenever theres a "w"

gd luck with whatever language you choose.
