Isn't there some code like *82 that blocks your name and number from going out to somebody that you call? I'm pretty sure tha'ts not the number, but what is, and does it cost to use it?

It's usualy *67 meaning you hit star key and then 67. Depending upon your phone plan there may be a charge per usage or it can be included. This is used prior to the call you make and needs to be used each time. You plan may also have a way to block your information for all outgoing calls. Call your phone company they are the best source for what works with your plan.

I think it's something like *67, but it depends on what kind of plan you have as to whether or not you can use it for free. I do know that on some plans it can cost up to $.50 a time.

You can call your phone company and get a blocked line and yes it does cost you. We have Qwest and it is in our package and it is blocked all the time for a flat rate. *82 is how you unblock your # if you are calling someone that does not accept blocked calls.

*67 hear a litlle do do do sound and dial the number. yes it costs money but it should be less than a buck

think its *67 (tone) and 1167 (pulse), not sure on the cost thing, probably varies between companies

*67=Costs but works better
