Consider yourself lucky. The closest town to us with the cheaper gas is 2.98. This was in Gaylord, Michigan.

Oh yeah...big time.
Last month I was in Caracas, Venezuela....
you know were this is going....

I filled the company issued Land Rover that was on empty
for less than $2.00 (U.S.)

Gas their is .08 cents a gallon. (U.S.)
Makes you sick, doesn't it.
Just goes to show...
the closer you are to the oil...
the cheaper it becomes.

This has always been the case.
Feel ripped off?
Supply X demand = price.

Real simple.. then throw in taxes, political bullshit,
the EPA, and here in California the "re-formulated, cleaner
burning gasoline" (BS) because of our "population density".

At least we are not in Australia...Norway... Europe, etc.
I feel for you...
No complaints here.. were you are looking at $7.85 to over
$10.00 a gallon (U.S.)
Follow the money....
You will get your answer.

I live in Sydney, Australia. The current price for fuel here is $1.45 (per Litre) - (4 Litres to 1 Gallon of Gas). Convert that to American $ and Australia pays nearly $10.00 per Gallon of Gas.

No. $2.97 Here in Goldsboro, North Carolina. But, if You want something to really get Mad about, how about this ? Every Gasoline Powered Vehicle on the Road could get at least 50 MPG, & Emit 10 X Less Pollution, but thanks to the Clinton/Gore EPA-OBD II Law, it's Illegal to even attempt to do so on any Vehicle in the USA from 1996 to the Present !

That is cheap compared to what we have here in San Mateo, California. The Shell gas station has 87s for $3.05. Arco has 87s for $2.95 if you pay cash.

Melbourne, Australia - about $1.40 per litre. The price of fuel is shocking and we only have all these wars in the Middle East to blame. Grrrrrrr.

Nope. $2.95 Grand Rapids Michigan. Low is $2.75.

That Aussie is crazy though.... There is 4.560999 ish... liters per gallon.... times 1.45 Which would be $6.61 ish per gallon... not $10...
