Okay, I know like 60 other perverted people already asked this question, but I only asked it because there is this kid in my class who says he lost his virginity when he was 10!!!! He's so gross to me now, and I really think he's telling the truth because he's told the same story to like 5 people! (We made a fake email account.. long story....) If you lost it when you were younger, do you regret it? He doesn't regret a thing, it's disgusting. Yeah, I know, a gross question, but anyway... 10 years old??? OMG!!! Suppose it means more to girls than guys, huh?

Yay for you people who wait till you're married!!!

Okay, uh, this is NOT a silly question. Unless you want to call the other 235932 people who have asked it "silly" too... And it matters to me, my friends, my parents... want me to continue???

How could you be 5? The Bible and everyone says that if you're raped you are still a virgin since it wasn't your choice anyway...

I am still a virgin. I am 25, about to turn 26. I'm not religious in any sense (I'm an atheist). I am not conscienciously waiting until marriage. I am waiting until I date a guy for more than 3 weeks who is ok with the fact that he will be my first. I feel like that guy should be able to be with me for at least a few weeks, and that he shouldn't freak out. Because it's not as big a deal to me as they all make it out to be. However, I have been dumped many times by various guys over the years because:
a) I wouldn't give it up right away (as in the first few days)
b) I told them I was a virgin and they couldn't deal with the "responsibility" that came with being my first, though I made it clear that it wasn't like they were going to have to wait forever, and/or that it wasn't like I was looking for a husband or even a long-term partner, just someone to be alright with the situation.
c) I got ridiculous claims like "I just can't spoil you for your life mate" etc... and "it'll mean more to you when you lose it, and I don't want you to hate me for taking it".

So yes, 10 is way too young. But at the same time, the older you get (especially if you're not religious and within the community that has the same sort of values) it gets harder because everyone seems to think that you're too fragile to make such a decision, and that it will hurt you, even if it won't, even if all you're looking for is something that isn't a one-night-stand.. that's most of the reason of where I am where I am now. Just be sure of what you want. That's the most important thing.

Hey, guess what, I was 5. Yeah 5. I never was given the choice to wait for marriage. Why not take a sec to think that everyone has a different life and you shouldn't judge others, just live your own life the best you can.

How could I be 5? By being 5 when a penis entered my vagina. That's the definition of virginity. The Bible also says judge not lest you be judged.

I;m a 30 years old woman and has been married since I was 16, He is the only man I have ever been with, and that the way I like it. We got married that young and finished high school, then college, and then adopted two babies. We did not have sex until marriage, it was the way I was taught in growing up, and was fine with it, and so was My Husband.

If you wait until you're married, it's like asking for a divorce. Everyone wants to do someone else after they're first time. Then, when you get married, that first year you have so many other things stressing you out that not having good sex really shouldn't be added to that list. Anyway, I was 15, and I so DON'T regret it at all!! To avoid attachment issues, I did it with a close male friend of mine just to get the suspense out of the way. After that, you should find someone special, otherwise you might get your heart broken. This especially goes out to the females. That whole waiting thing is overrated.
