My daughter has a rash over most of her chest and stomach that looks like mosquito bites, however she does not go outside and play. I have no pets and no fleas. She has been to three different doctors and they all say they have no idea what it is. Please anyone one with a similar experience I need some pointers on how to get rid of this.

I have not used anything new like soap or foods and it only itches her in certain spots, like on her back.

Yes my daugher had that kind of rash for at least 2 months straight until they finally figured out she was allergic to penacillan.
is your child on any kind of medication, maybe he/she become allergic to something. My oldest (which is 3 now) wanst allergic to milk when she was a year old starting on it but she went through this period for about 5-7 months that she couldnt drink it cause she broke out in hives and got a really bad rash, but after those months she is fine to drink it. They still don't know why her body did that but they say it happens with little ones. So you may take her to the pediatrician or the family doctor and get him/her tested for all allergies.
well i hope everything turns out okay, i know it is hard. all my daughter did was cry when she had that rash but they prescribed her some antibiotic cream for diaper rash and taken her off peniciallan and started the cream after a few weeks she was fine
well good luck and God Bless

in the recent weeks has she had a dry patch near her waste line. and does it become more irritable when she is hot and sweaty? sometimes you have to think back before the rash appeared. I would take her to a dermatologist and have them look at it. you can also look at what she is eating. some kids will be allergic to the dyes in the food and it can show up out of the blue

There is a cream called Aquafor, I believe, that is the best cream for rashes. My daughter had the worst diaper rash when she was teething and it cleared it up almost overnight. They sell it at Wal-Mart in a tube or a tub and it really works great. It isn't specifically for diaper rash, it is for skin irritations so maybe that will help.

It could be the laundry detergent you use. My husband gets it when we used the powdered stuff, doesn't come out of the clothes nearly as well as liquid in the wash. My son is starting to develop this as well, you might want to look into that. The rash usually happened where the clothes rubbed the most on him.

Sounds like hives...allergies. My son had it on amoxicillin. When trying to figure out what she might be allergic to, think of what you've given her recently that she's only been exposed to maybe once before-- you can't be allergic the very first time.

How long has it lasted? The docs didn't give any ideas? Are you using any new food or new products she could be allergic to?

Could it be scabies? I got it from school when I was younger and my Dr diagnosed it as an allergy first.
