OK,
I got this buddy. He is having a bachelor party tomorrow. Tonight a few guys were going to hang out. Have dinner and hang at a few bars.
So I call him in the afternoon to confirm. Yep, 7 or 8 we will grab dinner.
So I call at 7 to say I am heading over. His fiancée answers. He is at the store picking up some stuff. She tells me there is some big cocktail party tonight. Lots of her couple friends are coming over. There will be appetizers and drinking.
So I explained what I thought was going on. And she said no. and call him on his cell.
So I call him. And yep. Everything has changed.
So I have to make some dinner, now. And I call my girlfriend. Who has made other plans. She is like, screw them.
So I decided not to go out.
And he calls like an hour and a half later, from when our original plans are. I dopn’t answer. But the machine does. And he says “oh my fiancée says we should invite your girlfriend.”
What is up with this?
What would you do?
They had to have been planning this cocktail party for at least a few days.
WTF?

So what was the call an hour and half later?
Was he checking if I was coming at all?
Why did he decide to see if my girlfriend wanted to go?
Did they notice i wasn't there, and were like. sh** maybe if his girl goes. he will show up?

Your friend was rude to not let you know about the change in plans. You need to let him know that soon after the bachelor party. He made plans with you and then cancelled it without telling you. I think you need new friends, dear. That was pretty callous. and insensitive. To have your gf invited at the last minute shows a true lack of grace. Don't be surprise if more of it happens as the wedding date gets closer.

Are you supposed to be the Best Man? If not, let it go!
There are a lot of things going on right now for your buddy, his life is in a bit of turmoil at the moment with the wedding, the bachlor party, the Rehearsal diner....it's really hard to keep it all in check sometimes.
Don't worry about it.

Sounds like there's being a misunderstanding or somebody has a short term memory. Ring your mate up right now, and clear this up.
You'll probably find out he has different priorities, eg. His fiance. Which is the way it should be, they're getting married. But hey, that's just damn rude what he has done.

It sounds like your buddy got the dates mixed up. Talk to him about it when you are away from the women. Don't be too hard on him. He is probably way overbooked and overstressed with wedding stuff and set up your guy's night without checking his fiance's plans or the wedding countdown calendar. People do dumb stuff like that when they get hitched.

he is starting to learn what it is to be married, and you are still thinking single, most men just let that stuff slip their minds till someone says well get dressed, and its dressed? for what??? well you idiot the big party we are throwing before the wedding. just let it slide. your relationship to him will change completely now.

I would send a stripper to his house (while his fiancee is home) if there's still time before the wedding.
