I will be in New York for a day and I have hotel in NJ near path station and light rail. I am planning to visit the following:
1. Statue of Liberty
2. Wall Street
3. Brooklyn Bridge
4. Ground zero
5. Madam Tussads Museum
6. Empire State Building
7. Times Square

and if possible Central Park.

How can I see all the places with minimum time spent for travel between places?

Thanks in advance.

Take path train to 33 st station nyc-get a metrocard (fun pass) $7.00-it's an unlimited pass that last 24hrs from time of purchase-hop on the # (1) or (9) train downtown to the south ferry station-exit train and look for sign for statue of liberty ferry-after ferry ride-you can walk up broadway to wall street or take the #(4) train uptown to wall and broadway--after ur wall street visit walk 2 block west and 3 blocks north ---arrive at ground zero--when finished take the #(4) train at the fulton street station- uptown to the Brooklyn bridge station--(the fulton street train station is located near century 21-- get ur shop on if u have time)--from the bridge take the #(6) local train uptown to the 33 st station--get off walk two blocks north to East 35th street and 2-3 blocks west to 5th avenue arriving at the empire state bldg-from there to the museum u can walk to 42nd st between 7th and 8th--I think that is the best route and you will be in the heart of times square---to the park---take the #(1) or (9) uptown located on the corner of west 42nd and 7th ave--or the (A or c) on w 42nd and 8th ave---from park take the # 1 or # 9 downtown or the (A) downtown to 34st penn sta---take path to ur hotel.

While in N.Y. ur train stops should take no longer than 15-20 mins tops---the longest ride would be on the ferry to and from the statue of liberty----25 mins both ways

Have fun and travel safe----Enjoy!

There are buses going all the way up or down towen, and cross town. Items 5,6 and 7 are in walking distance of each other - walking is fun because there is SO much to see, and lots of helpful people if you need directions!! Enjoy.
