My exBoyfriend and I broke up because I wasnt thin and demure enough for him. He also had a violent temper sometimes and would call me names. Since we broke up we've tried to be friends.
Its an incredibly one sided friendship. He's smart and interesting to talk with, but other than that he asks me to do chores & help him with errands. We never just hang out.
Im not his girlfriend and he says I should help him if Im his friend.
He currently has a girlfriend and after a two week vacation together he informed me that he will marry her within a year (he's 37, she is almost 36 & I'm 30)
He says he wants to start family with her before she gets too old.
It hurts that we dated for 4 years and he's marrying someone else. Also she is 5'10, 120 lbs and it annoys me that he's that shallow. Im 5'5 125 and too curvy for him.
Should I move and have a fresh start ?All my friends live in other towns and my family is 100 miles from here. I only moved here years ago for him. Its 'his town

I should add that the town we live in is tiny and would be hard to ignore him.
Also he has told me he'll want to stalk anyone he sees dating me.
So even though he doesn't want to marry me, he's still preoccupied with me I guess.

I got all the info. I need to answer your question in the first sentence. He is a guy with a violent temper and abusive behavior...Hello, what in the world would you want a relationship with someone like that. Ok, I got it, I understand that you think you love him. I have to say, I don't understand how you could love someone who was abusive to you. Gather your self-esteem, and move on. Whether you move 1,000 miles away or down the street, you still need to stay as far away from this guy as you can get. Love doesn't always go away, but you need to remember that just because you love someone doesn't mean they are good for you. This is an unhealthy relationship and if you don't see that, you might need a little help yourself. Seriously, Get away from him, and then seek counseling and take care of yourself.

if you feel its an incredibly one sided relationship then why are you with him. Seems to me, like you don't want to get on with your life. You deserve better than this guy. And im sorry but if you're 5'5 and 125 then you're not too curvy, you have a nice body. Since when is being 125 lbs being too curvy? Don't compare yourself to his girlfriend. Value your self esteem and realize that you're much better than what he deserves. You DESERVE a fresh start. you NEED someone who understands you and loves you for who you are. Not just because of your body, but because he sees the best of him in you. Good luck.

Just because it is his town dont give up your whole new life you started there for him! If you are missing family or friends then move because you want to and feel it is right, dont move because of someone else. I moved from ny to iowa because my ex was starting rumors and making my life hell and i regret it dearly! Dont give him the satisfaction of your feelings be strong it takes alot but you dont want to regret anything. BEST OF LUCK!!
