Pay attention don't fall asleep no matter what. Pinch your self a few times it helps. Have coffee in the morning. Go to sleep at 10 30 is try an eight hour sleep routine it will help study and be prepare for pop quiz. Take notes especially if written on the board. If you take a language course try to learn the words that the teacher gave you that very day. Work math problems over and over again if you don't understand. If you have free time in during the school day like study hall, use that time wisely (seriously no joke, work on history, math, reading). Learn to manage time is the key. Hope this info helps

Peers- Keep your head up, try to stay involved in activities, Offer your friendship when the opportunity arises.

Schoolwork- Ask questions if you need to- you never know, someone else might be wondering the same thing. Make yourself finish homework directly after school before anything else.

Family- Encourage your parents to be involved as much as possible.

Above all, ENJOY high school- they will be the best years of your life, if you let them.

I worked as a waiter on top of a high school gym. That's the best way to get tips on high school. Get it? Because you tip your waiter? Yeah, that was terrible...

ignore all the gossip, try your hardest, have a good time. in high school it seems like your life revolves around it will be forever. but in reality, once you graduate you will rarely see the same people. i've seen maybe 5 in 10 years since i graduated. so just take it with stride, have fun and remember it too will pass.

Begin from the first day of the 9th grade, study and do your best in all subjects, enjoy your days off and your vacations, continue to proceed from grade level to grade level until you graduate. Nuff said?

These will be some of the most challenging days of your life so far, they are also some of the best ones... Don't miss them.

9th grade was practically the same as 8th grade for me. There were no new hurdles (for me, anyway)

Just be nice to others!
