I have a subscription at http://freecreditreport.com

It's not free to me anymore, but worth the subscription cost. I can check my credit report as often as I want. The website is run by Experien, so that is the report I get all the time. To get a three-copmany report costs additional so I never do it.

I have a credit card with Providian Bank - now merged with Washington Mutual Bank. The credit card website gives me my up-to-the minute credit score any time I want to check it.

So with these two services, I always know what is going on with my credit profile.

Congress passed a law that says that each major credit reporting agency (Experian, Equifax, and Transunion) must entitle every American at least one free credit report annually. In other words, you can get a free credit report from each of these agencies every year.

Go to www.annualcreditreport.com to get started.

Man, I hated that too! Like I'm supposed to remember the zipcode to a place I lived like 10 places ago? Ya, ok, I can barely remember my pin on a good day.

Anways, take a stab at the answers. You can try more than once and they do allow you to miss a question or two. Good luck!

once a year you can go to my annual credit reports.com and get all three reports for free. they ask questions for security reasons. they are mulitple questions with several answers. some are actually dumb but only one answer is the right one. after you answer three, they allow access for you as they know its you. the best way to get in is the credit card questions as it will ask for credit cards. use your valid cards and type in the numbers and after three answered, your in your reports.

You need to review your financials. They usually ask you questions you make monthly payment to, or a cc copmany you use regularly.
