in my experience being totally relaxed around a guy works great.also id be like one of the guys including talking about other girls. dont act like you are intimidated around other girlswhen your with him.show him you are confident and secure with yourself. all this has never failed for me.even if it drives you nuts to want him DONT SHOW IT right away, keep your cool.

you cant make someone like you, you just talk to them and be their friend and maybe they might like you. they have to like you for you not cause you were being someone else to impress them or make them like you
