Before getting mad at your dad, why won't you ask him first why he doesn't like your boyfriend? You will be able to understand your dad's reason if you get to know it. And with those reasons you can find solutions with your delimma. There are lots of reasons why parents are not that eager to let their daughters go thru relationships because they don't want you to get into trouble, especially if you are still young and they see you not mature enough to have a boyfriend yet. Hope you will take time to understand such kind of reasons, because these are for your own benefit.
Start on with having a talk with your dad, and if there were frustrated expectations in your dad's part from your boyfriend that are valid and needs to be done, then talk about it with your boyfriend. If your boyfriend really loves you, he would take the challenge of improving himself to show your dad that he deserves to be your boyfriend.
If your dad's reasons are not reasonable, then challenge yourself and your boyfriend to show your dad that you guys are good, really love each other and deserves his trust. Hope this way you will win your dad's approval.

Don't disrespect your Dad. Give him time and respect his wishes, even tho its hard. He may sense something about the guy that you or mom miss. Or he may not be able to let go yet. If you can't get mom to gently prod him in the direction of liking your guy, fighting his wishes DEFINITELY won't help either

well ur dads gotta know that ur the 1 datting the kid not him he isnt going to like what u so its natural just give him some time and if ur boyf is respectful around ur dad he might feel that he is good enough to be with u
