They are both suppose to be weight neutral. Neither causing weight gain or weight loss

I've been on Cymbalta since November 2005, so 10 months, and have gained 30 pounds in the last 4 months alone, plus an additional 10-20 duing the first 6 months. I've just finally been realizing that it MUST be the Cymbalta that's doing it. I'm not on any other medication, not even birth control pills, and haven't changed my diet or activity level. It works great for OCD symptoms, but I don't know what to do about the weight...

I have been on Cymbalta for four months and I have not experienced weight gain. I tend to gain weight anyway, so I don't think I am going to have trouble with Cymbalta if I haven't yet.

Seems like all antidepressants have the weight gain as a side affect. I gained 40 pounds on Effexor. I am now on Cymbalta, but I still have not been able to lose the weight. I like Wellbutrin, but while it is great for depression, it is not good for panic attacks. I have both depression and panic.

I take Cymbalta and have had a slight weight gain. But my doctor drills into my head to keep healthy snacks around because weight gain can happen with Cymbalta.He suggests carrots and celery precut for a quick binge.

I even have in basic terms been taking it for some week and a nil.5, yet so some distance i've got lost in basic terms a sprint of weight via fact it took my urge for food away for the 1st 4 days. It impacts all and sundry in yet in a diverse way in spite of the undeniable fact that, I heard weight earnings and weight loss can the two be part outcomes.

i dont think so. i take cymbalta and i havent noticed a big change. mabe 3 pounds.

I have never heard of cympalta but i am on welbutrin and it actually can aid in weight loss

my doctor told me wellbutrin would make me lose weight if anything.but i have gained
