Some guys are naturally flirtatious and they don't even realize it. Watch how he behaves around other girls. That will tell you if he's personally trying to communicate that he likes you in particular. Guys are so dense. Once there was this guy and I didn't like him but he acted like he liked me all the time. So, I had a serious talk with him and told him that the way he behaves would lead a girl to think that he liked them and that he'd better be careful because some girl is going to really like him and get hurt. He was so dense and clueless about his behavior. Like those hugs smiles and sweet ways don't mean anything. At first, he was quite offended that I said this to him. Then, after some time, he realized I was right. In any case, if you confront him like that as though you don't like him - that could be a good strategy for you to find out the truth. Then, you have to play a little hard to get. People want what they can't have - most of the time not what is an easy catch.

Be cute fit and confident in your self not too clingy and be feminine and laugh and dont be uptight meaning show him you have personality and you are ambitious and you liketo try new things dont be scared to try new things and try to understand him. He's a guy after all Also if he knows you like him then its all up to him now. If he doesn't then flirt with him and feed him compliments. Guys go for what they want even a shy guy. Guys don't toy with thier feelings unless he's insecure about him self then you may need to tell him but if he's hot then girl let him come to you after you have done all you can do. Good luck

2. He doesn't like you, he's playing a joke
3. He doesn't like you, you're just hoping that he does, by thinking that he is acting like it
4. He does like you, and he's not acting, he loves you

yes..sometimes..but some guys are just playin with you..and there are few guys..who acts like he likes you coz of a bet or something..

flirt with him and then ask him out. if he likes you he'll take you up on the offer, if he doesn't you can't force him and there are plenty of other fish in the sea.
