Go to the drug store or even Target or Walmart or a grocery store and buy wart remover. They have one that has Salicylic Acid in it that you apply to the wart every day over the course of several weeks (read and follow the directions on the bottle). They also have one that freezes warts off. I haven't tried that one yet, but it's probably faster (and more painful) Make sure what's on your hand is a wart and not a mole or something else before you start treating it with wart remover.

Going to a doctor won't help like someone above has stated. I get warts on my feet every year and the Dr.'s have all said they will go away. One time they put something on a wart on my hand, and it worked. I forget the name of it, sorry! It was really hot then it got really cold (which is normal for the liquid).

That freeze away thing, you buy it at Walmart for like 3 dollars...
But probably a doctor is better.
I've never had a wart, so I'm going by commercials...
My mom always says put some Duct Tape on it (real Duct Tape) for a few days and it will literally go away. Like I said, I've never had one, but I know people who have and my mom has always recommended that.

Soak your hand in clean warm water for about 10 minutes, rub off loose skin, then apply wart remover . Do this every night for a month, wrap your hand while you sleep and take vitamin A to increase immune system and your bodies ability to fight off such things

Warts are contagious growths that are found on the skin or mucus membranes. Viruses that cause warts are called human papillomavirus (HPV). Warts are usually skin-colored and feel rough to the touch, but they can be dark, flat and smooth.

Compound W Freeze Off. Or if you keep irritating it sometimes they will go away on their own in time. I kept taking the clippers to one that I had and eventually it just left and never came back. True story. The doctors use liquid nitrogen to freeze them off and I had that done as a child and it really hurt.
