decrease than is a quote from the perfect debate. Does this recommend that once Obama is President the US is going to attack Pakistan and if so how does the US get the further troops? Obama...."And we've were given a decision. lets enable our troops to easily be on the protective and take up those blows back and back and back, if Pakistan is unwilling to cooperate, or we ought to start up making some judgements. And the project, John, with the approach that's been pursued grow to be that, for 10 years, we coddled Musharraf, we alienated the Pakistani inhabitants, because we were anti-democratic. We had a twentieth-century frame of mind that truthfully reported, "properly, you recognize, he can be a dictator, yet he's our dictator." And therefore, we lost legitimacy in Pakistan. We spent $10 billion. And in the period in-between, they weren't going after Al Qaida, and they are more effective valuable now than at any time when you consider that we began the conflict in Afghanistan. that's going to regulate even as i'm president of the USA."

This question keeps cropping up.

1. There is no desire or need in the military to re-institute the draft.

2. There is no desire in the congress to re-institute the draft. Even Representative Charlie Rangel, who keeps bringing up the draft for discussion, voted against re-instituting the draft when it was brought before the floor of the House of Representatives. It went down to defeat 400 - 3 with 32 abstentions.

3. There is no desire on the part of the American people to re-institute the draft.

Stop listening to your hand wringing friends and read into the news. This is a straw man. Volunteers are keeping and will continue to keep you free.

Draft came back would have to draft women into combat. Think that will ever happen? Happened of course in Israel but that was under extreme duress to save country. Equal rights amendment pretty much ended the draft. Hope we don't need it in the future.

Every male in the US must sign up for SELECTIVE SERVICE (THE DRAFT) at the age of 18. You are able to be drafted from the day of your 18th birthday until your 36th birthday. We never did away with the draft. We just haven't had to use it because we have had a high enough number of VOLUNTEERS to serve our country.

Not till every last penny possible is put and pocketed via politician feeding media outlets they own stock, and want to control content by recruitment commercials. How much taxes does it take to run one during the Super Bowel.

NOPE!!! The Military of today depends on men and women who are willing to put their lives on the line in defense of this GREAT country and there are too many wimps and cowards in society to fill the ranks.

if we keep fighting, and if we take a couple more fronts besides afghanistan and iraq we will have to draft to fill the ranks in the army and marines.
