Is there a possible way I could talk to my late father in my sleep?

I know this sounds stupid but... I always have dreams about my Dad, who died 3 years ago. We use to always talk about sports, and in my dreams, we 'talk' about sports news today....and it seems so real.

Is there an actual way to talk to dead loved ones? Thoughts?

I mean..his favorite NFL team was the Miami Dolphins, and I often have dreams, where I am talking to him about their new quarterback they just signed this summer, Daunte Culpepper. And he tells me how he (Culpepper) is going to do so good against defenses this year, and to just watch.

Then, last week, while I was in Myrtle Beach on Vacation, I bought a Miami Dolphins Daunte Culpepper jersey, and Miami Dolphins Zach Thomas jersey, and I had a dream that same night I got the jerseys, dreaming that I was in the room sleeping, then waking up out of nowhere, standing up from the bed, looking at my Dad as he's standing there, giving him a hug while wearing my new Daunte Culpepper jersey I purchased.

I just think there has to be some kind of connection. I miss my father so much, I would do anything to have him back here on earth or to at least spend one more hour, or at least minute, second, it doesn't matter..just more time with him.

That sounds like a girl who really loves her Daddy! You sound a lot like I thought after my Dad died. He died the day after my 2 and last child was born. Imagine that whopper! Through the Grace of God I did fine.

It's important to celebrate life with your loved ones while they are alive. When they die, they're gone. Please don't fall into a trap of a fortune teller, or a spiritual reader, or any of those con artists. They prey upon your feelings and vulnerability.

Your question and description made it very clear why one would dream of anyone under those circumstances. Both are sports fan [like me & Daddy-Go Dolphins!] You bought 2 jerseys and had a dream that night with your Dad? You may not want to hear it, but if you are a Christian, you shouldn't even "go" there.

You know you can talk to your heavenly Father any time. You can ask him for help to resolve this matter. You have to stop thinking about making contact with your deceased Dad.

They say that those who try and reach spirits in the other world don't always reach the ones they desired to, but often times horrible one's who are miserable. You know what they say about misery loving company. I think you have enough on your plate right now.

I believe your father may be keeping in touch with you through your dreams. I think they can do that. I don't think it's the other way around.

It's fine to keep the memory of your Dad alive. But you have to realize once God takes our loved ones, they are God's property. They always were. I wish you peace of mind and of heart. I will pray for you.

actually its not stupid. Its honest and its a really good question. I have had dreams about talking to my parents or grandmother. I could tell you a few...like when my dad was dying..(Really dying) he came to me in my dream, all of us girls (his daughters) were suppose to show up and talk to him, it was really important. I just kept seeing a light glowing over him and barely can see him in the light. He just didn't seem right to me. See my dad was dying of emphasymia...and was dying slowly, Suffercating. Anyhow...I kept hearing the phone ringing...and I turned around to go answer the phone (in my sleep) and when I picked up the phone my dad was gone. Now I really was hearing the phone ringing...I got up and answered it. It was my little sister, she was crying...and my guess was..."Dad isn't doing well is he? He's gonna die?!" She asked me how I knew that and I told her I just woke up from having a dream that our dad had faded away. My dad died 2days later. I didn't get to make it to his funeral or anything like that...I was pregnant at the time. When I lost my mother almost the same thing had happend but it was confusing. Same with my grandmother, she died of an anurisem. The night she died, I had a dream that she was being taken by some force of souls. Now its really considered a telepathy or psychic of some sort. And even if you dream your talking to him, more than likely you really are. He wants to know how things are going for you and in life. He misses you dearly and is watching over you. And its all true.

I know you miss your dad and that's why you dream about him so much. Please don't get involved in channeling the dead, it sounds like a simple thing and it really can be, but there is more under the surface that may people don't understand. Try to accept that your dad loved you very much but dieing is a part of living and you have to move forward with your life, he would want you to, he would want you to be happy and dwelling on his death is not being happy.

You already are! Every time you dream about him, he is actually communicating with you. I dont care if it sounds corny, I have checked this out, and I believe it to be true. All the loved ones I have lost and were closest to have come to me in dreams, it's thier way of saying "hey, I'm here, and I'm ok." Keep on dreamin girl, and try not to be sad. I know you miss him, but you get to see him all the time, and that's what matters. Chin Up!

When we sleep our souls still more free. All the energy will work better because we stay more free, without the self control of our thoughts.
You can find a lot of this cases in studies of "quantum" energy, Allan Kardec, Vivekananda, Ramakrishna, some kirlian studies about the movement of our souls while our bodies stay at bed ....
All can be possible, all can be invention, all can be crazy things, but you can obtain a certain looking the results. If is good for you and it cooperate in your life enjoy it.

I believe in the power of dreams and i believe that even God uses dreams to reach us some times, so what i think IT IS possible that Heaven knows how much you love you father and IT loves that much to let you late father communicate with u through your dreams, and if any body says its silly, well dear deep in your heart you know the truth

I do believe people come back to visit us in our dreams my cousin whom i was very close with was killed and he came to me in a dream shortly after his death and the odd thing was he was expressionless and the words he was saying were silent he was talking but its like someone cut the audio to me i think he was telling me the details of his death but god would not allow him to he came to me often after that then in one dream in particular we were sitting outside and the dream must have seemed so real it freaked me out so i told him you can t be here and he said why and i said because you are dead and I dunno i am thinking that maybe i scared him off that he was thinkin his "visits" were a little too much for me to handle so whatever u do don t mention his passing because he may stop visiting you ,sweet dreams sweetheart

have u thought about using the ouija board? before u start tripping, it is not evil or demonic and it doesn't invite demons into ur home. it has a bad reputation thanx to ppl who misuse it or treat it in a stupid way. anyway, u can make ur own by writing the letters of the alphabet down on a piece of paper. also, write yes& no on the top 2 corners along with #'s 1-0 on the page below. just use it whenever u have a quiet moment to urself by thinking about ur father with the paper in front of u. trust me, it works. use a piece of paper to point to the letters.

Oh my god, I thought I was the only one. I have had some of the best conversations with my mother since her death in my dreams. She was a very wise woman and I thought it was crazy to even mention it.

I dream about my mom most nights. I think this is her way of communicating. . Sometimes if you just talk out loud you will get a feeling that they are there.
