My girlfriend who I loved dearly, and still do left me about a month ago. She has been seeing someone else but she still calls me all the time. The other day her current boyfriend found out that she and I were still talking (although still not together). I told her that I loved her but that I would stay out of her life if i was causing her problems. She said no and that if he had a problem with she and I talking he would be out the door. Why would she care so much about talking to me? If she is so willing to drop him rather than stop talking to me why doesnt she just do it and the two of us reconcile?

thats my situation too. women are funny that way they get scary after a while or if it gets to serious. but youll probably get her back she is just testing other waters before the full commitment to you comes.

Sometimes people are not sure, they think they are in love but feel they haven't had enough experience in relationships outside of this one to know for sure...

it could be she still has very strong feelings for you but just wants to know for sure, and the only way she feels she can do that is by seeing other people for a time.

If you love someone set them free, if they never come back it wasen't ment to be, if they do its true love... (or something like that)

He'd be out the door for trying to restrict her choises as of who to talk to.

She calls you because she finds security in you. It's like a crutch to her, she doesn't seem to know how to live without you. Maybe she's contemplating to return to you, but not sure yet. Keep communicating, communication is good. You'll find out.

You need to step away from her altogether. Can't you see...she's playing the both of you. Is this the type of person you want to commit to? Are you a sucker for misery? Have some dignity and show some respect for yourself. Don't let this person use you for a toy.

She likes you, yet desires time for something else to be sure how lots you will stand with the aid of - OR - she desires to have you ever as a chum only and is sensible adequate to no longer take somebody else telling her who she will and can't refer to. in case you have only been aside a million month - she's moved on thank you to rapid and hasn't given herself adequate time to comply with changing loyalties. notwithstanding in case you do reconcile, you will desire to step returned from the place you have been and restart the whole subject - romane, dancing, dinner, quiet walks - notwithstanding, purely step returned and take it slower

well, i think that she loves you, but isn't in love with you. just becuz u broke up doesn't mean u can't still be frinds. maybe she likes you as a really good frind but doesn't have any love-related intrest in you.(sorry to be kinda blunt) or maybe she is having second thoughts about breaking up, is considering breaking up w/her current boyfriend, and trying to figure out when and how to do it.

People do stupid things, its a universal constant.

Perhaps she gets best of both worlds, she enjoys being with her current boyfriend for whatever reason, and enjoys being with you for mental support.

maybe she just wants to stay friends with you. or more likely, she is trying to figure out her feelings for you and she could just be dating this guy to compare you to.
