Walking for sure. But the trick is actually to eat more. However, it must be fruits and veggies. You can eat them until you are stuffed. Allow at least one meal a day (portioned) and preferrably lunch, where you "treat" yourself. Limit fast foods to once a week. Don't deny yourself your favorite foods, just limit them. If you can, get a set of dumbbells to help build muscle. Building muscle won't necessarily help you drop pounds (muscle weighs more than fat), but you will lose inches. Having muscle also increases your metabolism helping you to lose weight.

To loose weight you MUST burn more calories than you consume, however you choose to do that.
You can take in fewer calories by eating less; but unless you are already over-eating, this option will eventually place your health at risk.
You can burn more calories by exercising more. Exercising does not necessarilly mean working out with equipment. There are many exercises you can do with whatever you have on hand (including walking, jogging, swimming, bicycling, etc)

Walk when you can & watch your caloric intake. I'd also cut soda outta your diet if you drink it a lot. That's what I've done & I've maintained a healthy weight for about a year now.
