If memory serves, there are parks in Racine or Kenosha right down on the lake that might work. My ex-boyfriend's band used to play shows there. Festival Park, maybe? I don't remember exactly which one.

I don't know the Milwaukee area at all but I can suggest that you go to The Knot website and look under local vendors. You will find plenty of useful information and suggestions on the site.

Depends on what type of couple you are...say you were the outdoorsy type...you could it to the lake somewhere. In most places...they have pavillions and such that you can rent for a small fee from the Corps of Engineers with electricity, picnic tables, and you could rent a flatbed truck trailer and decorate it and use it for a stage. Trust me my husband was in a band for years and we usually went to these type of things when he was playing. Very inexpensive.

Check the area parks to see if they have such facilities, that's where many family reunions are held and again they'll usually rent it out for a small donation.

Just be sure you have a band of helpers to help with the mess/cleanup.

Another thing, look to see if there's a community building in the area. They're usually easy to rent also.

Those are my suggestions, but I live in a smaller town, I have no clue how it would be in a bigger area.

If memory serves me, this is about the 5th or 6th time you've asked this question. And you don't seem to like any of the answers the people take their time to provide.

May I suggest YOU do some of the leg-work and find the place that fits your needs?
