Like most women, I find myself experimenting with the miriad of endless workout options available to see which suits me best. These are three I currently own, or am thinking of using. IF you have experience with at least one of these, what is your opinion? Did you use it for the length of time recommended? If so, what were your results? Did you vary any of the diet recommendations?
Here are the three:
*Tae Bo
*Michael Thurman's 6 Week Body Makeover
*Core Basics Latin Dancing DVD
Bottom line, do any of these work for you? I have a fair amount of weight to lose, and this isn't just for 5 or 10 vanity pounds. Thoughtful input only, please! Thanks!!

I'm not asking how to lose weight. I know the basics. I'm just asking, IYO, which of the above three programs have given you the best results? Thanks.

Out of your three options, I"d choose tae bo only because i'm most familiar with it, but i've heard dancing is a great way to lose weight and get toned. Plus, dancing is great fun, you don't even know you're working out! I think if you exercise at least 30 minutes a day at high intensity you'll see results. I used to jog for 30 minutes every morning and take yoga classes a couple times a week coupled with healthy eating and i was at my best then slim-wise. I was the most toned (grew muscles) when I did 3 days of lifting weights and 15-20 minutes of cardio. Each day I rotated lifting weights for my back, chest and legs and it worked!

Tae Bo has been a very good workout for me. What is fun about it is the music and Billy Blanks just make me wanna kick butt! Another thing that has worked for me is swimming. I don't know if you have a pool available to you but swimming has been an excellent workout in the past! Good luck!

Hi
This plan really worked for me so here goes,
If you are serious about losing weight, the calories in the food you eat should be less than the energy you use. You will have to increase your metabolic rate now, and plan your diet carefully.
Formulate your own weight loss plan and you will lose weight faster. More details available at http://tinyurl.com/m7ckx
good luck

Lots of weight to lose if you can start with a good water aerobics class I would start there. Its easier on your body and hard to injure your self.
Once you learn the basic moves you can do them on your own.
Yes some classes have lots of older , heavy women but you can really lose inches if you work at it ( the real old ladies just do it slow.)
It will really take inches off of you.
Then walking briskly daily will help, increase as you are able to . start with 20 minutes if thats all you can do.
Good Luck.

there became one I bear in mind that became purely an workout in lust. the girls wore tight yet skimpy leotards, overpainted lips and many butt thrusting and bending over. i don't believe of the aerobics were of any extremely high quality both. there became yet another one which had high quality aerobics, set at 3 ranges of interest (gentle, generic, heavy), even with the undeniable fact that the instructor became noticeably busty
