It is a promise made to them in order to get them to actually pursue a suicide mission. Dangling a carrot in front of the horses nose. Something better than what they have now.
You have to understand that these people begin moral and ethical instruction, as well as who to hate and not to hate instruction, from the time that they are very young.
Training, training. That's what they know. They haven't seen the outside world. They know what they've been taught by those by those in control of their environment.
Everybody needs a good excuse for when they die (some don't care). Those that do care hope that they had a good life and that is fine. Others hope for something better on the other side.

Buddhist; To reincarnate as a higher life form.
Muslim; An everlasting paradise. Except for the ones that think their going to get 17 virgins.
How long do you think those 17 virgins are going to last? If you ask me I'd say that's a pretty limited scope for eternity.

You just can't believe anything you hear! This info is not true. It's like you want to believe because anything insulting to muslims is all you want. You commit suicide you go to hell full stop. And there is no 72 virgins! actually its 7 woman in the form of what ever you wish them to be, vigins, whores, and women to get who ever and what ever she wishes. thats that place called again Ah HEAVEN WHERE WE GET ALL OUR HEARTS DESIRE! 72 virgins you people just believe in anything! it is true that muslims are promised virgins in heaven.. but i dont know from where did u get the number 72.. and sucide is a big sin in islam..
one question from me to u... why do u think waging a war with muslims will end muslims.. just observe ur own country how many people revert to islam.. once prophet Muhammad has said "The more Islam is suppressed the more it will rise" and thats the reason islam is the fastest growing religion in US and Europe.. lol.. at the end ur own country is reverting to islam..

Um...it's only 17 virgins...which is still alot.
I had a virgin once and she cried and said that I dirtied her up so bad that no man would ever want her again. Her dad tried to kill me with a fishing pole and a cherry bomb.
Muslims but be nuts if they want that kind of drama x 17.
