i would like to see a range of answers. anyway yes i had unprotected a week after i had abortion and i have continued to do so at least 5 times. there is nothing that u people can say to take that back. anyway u dont know any of my reasons and what really went on because u simply dont know me.. i would just like answers from ppl who kno about abortion and know if its possible and how possible. i notice everytime i ask this question ppl go about saying all types of negative comments but the negative feedback is making me a better person, u ppl want to judge go right ahead but you have no idea whats going on around here, what happened and all of the circumstance. u ppl are just to occupied with leaving smartass comments to get ur 2 points well guess what.. if u leave an educated sincere answer u would get 10 points so if u are so hard up for points stop being so damn negative. and for those with a good heart and that wont judged, thank u and please answer my question .

It depends on when you ovulate after the abortion. My sister had to get an abortion under the doctors suggestions because the fetus wouldn't grow to the right size and had some type of serious disease (not fond of it) a few weeks ago. She too has been trying to conceive afterwards. I want you to know that you are not alone and that a great deal of people have the same questions you too. Don't be defensive though because you shouldn't care what these people think, they talk a lot of smack over the computer, who cares, you know? Anyway, there is a high chance you are pregnant again so go see a doctor and get a blood test so they can test your HCG levels. And this time, please don't abort.

In response to your question, unprotected sex can cause pregnancy even after an abortion.
Why aren't you taking better care of yourself is my question? You are putting your body under alot of stress by becoming pregnant so soon after the procedure. I don't agree with abortions, but I also don't know what you have been thru or the reason you chose to destroy your baby. Not judging, just stating a point.
Why are you NOT using protection. There are too many diseases you need to protect yourself from and don't forget unwanted pregnancies.

The answer is yes, there is every chance of getting pregnant again so soon after an abortion. An abortion is just a proceedure to get rid of the embryo/fetus, so once you've had that done your body is pretty much back to normal. You have shedding like a period for a few days, but then its all systems go. Most people that have abortions usually receive contraceptive advice and are given something to start once the proceedure is over. Abortion is not a form of contraception. It is very possible. I had a friend that it happened to and I told her that it was a sign. But maybe you should go for a check up. I would have thought you was too soar for all that after that procedure. Well im not gonna judge you cuz aparently you know what your doing. All I ask is that you dont continue to make a mistake and use abortions. SOme ppl cant have any (I think I am one) so atleast give us an oppertunity to let them have a chance to enjoy life.

i dont know much about abortion but you must have had a good reason to do it or you would'nt have. i think it would take longer then a week after a abortion to become pregnant. i think you would have to wait until your body has healed itself and until you have had another period. but if thats what you really want to do then there is nothing anyone can say to stop you. i know if you did get pregnant you would be a high risk this time and there may be complactions. i hope there isnt any for you.

Rather than saying that others are being 'negative' I seriously think you need to read your post and ask yourself what kind of response you are expecting to hear. You need an attitude adjustment.
Medically speaking, you are not supposed to have sex so soon after the abortion due to an already high risk of infection.

its a good possibility i don't want to sound mean but why are you having sex anyways if your so worried about getting pregnant again go to your local planned parenthood or something to that effect and get some condoms. plus Ive also herd that if you do have many abortions it can cause complications later in life and you can even hemorrhage. just some things to keep in mind. i hope you make some good decisions and just keep in mind I'm not judging you. people have good reasons for what they do and you don't need to justify anything to anyone besides your self and the higher power that you believe in. good luck.
