Yes, the bismuth in the pepto bismol will turn your tongue black and also your teeth if you have residue from the pepto bismol. It will also turn your poop black.

Actually yes. Your tongue can grow a furry blackish substance that you can brush off but will come right back. This is a side effect of this medication but I think you have to take more than just one dose.
