theycallmetomu, racism is perhaps too strong a word, more likely it may be more accurately cultural or racial bias, don't you think, on the part of the captions' author(s)?

Yes, but those who worship Krishna are not worshipping the Idol, they are worshipping what the Idol Represents... KRISHNA!
Christians do the same thing. They dont worship a cross, yet they are compelled to keep one in thier church and acknowledges it as a representation of their 'Living God'

An idol is an object of worship. An image is just a picture. Christians are forbidden from worshipping pictures, so its not an idol.
