You've just inspired me to become a vegetarian. Well almost. There is one kind of meat I refuse to give up.

Tongue is great...did you try the tip? it's the best part! Most people have to be brought up on it to really appreciate it. By all means, don't bother eating it if you don't like it, it's not worth the $26-30/pound. On the other hand, if you like it, a hot tongue sandwich can really make your day. Often served on rye or a roll

Pickled lamb's tongue is found in many bars in this area. Usually found in a one gallon jar on the counter with the rock and rye and other fine beverages. When you are drunk, starved, and hungry there are usually only two choices.....tongue or hot bolognas. The tongue is ugly as sin but what the hell, not that bad when drunk.

beats me, just thinking about it makes me vomit. 20-30$ a lb for a disgusting piece of crap?!! i'd rather take all that money and flush it down the toilet.
