I don't think that they are smarter or able to achieve more, however, I think that you get a better education with private schools because you are paying to ensure that your children get the attention that they need to ensure that they are acheiving the highest grades that they can. My children will be going to a private school if I have to go and flip burgers to pay for it, I almost failed repeatedly in High School because no one knew how to teach me, and no one really had the time to try. Also, parental involvement makes a world of differance as well.

Yes, but it don't have anything to do with the school they go to. Kids that go private school have families that can pay for it and are usually better off financially. Growing up in a higher financial class give a child more opportunities and also usually means the parents are well educated with good jobs.
They are not smarter because they go to private school, they go to private school because they are smarter and well off.

I think so, to a degree. I believe that children in private schools are able to get more undivided attention, whereas, public schools, like ours, are so overpopulated, kids don't have too much of a chance unless they are pretty good at learning, already. That's just my opinion.

I attended both private and public schools..and each has its pros and cons....but i did not notice a distinct difference in the intelligence of the students attending....what i did notice was the expectations of the parents and teachers at private schools was much greater

Yes I am in 5 grade in private school and my friend is in 7 grade in public school, so i am smarter than her!

it depends on the child. if the child doesn't want to learn they aren't going to, they have to be motivated and kids in both public and private school both succeed. not all of them just the ones that want to.

No, not really. There are children in public school who done better. Is not the school, it all depends on the kid themself, whether they are hard working and self-motivated or not.

no kids in Private schools are dumber. their parents put them there so the kid wont get bullyed or bet up.
