where/how did you propose to your spouse?

The same day we acutally went ring searching, not knowing he would propose to me the same night. He took me to Wingers to have some dinner, then we drove around the Logan, Utah Temple a couple of times. Then he parked the car, opened the door for me and took me by the hand. He led me toward the gates of the Temple and we went inside. We stared at the Temple for a little bit. Then he got on his knee, pulled the ring out and tried to say something, but the words didn't come because he was so nervous. But he asked me to marry him. And I looked down and said Yes. And we hugged and kissed. It was so nice and spiritual.

My wife and I were hanging out with a friend in his den one day, just shooting some pool. We were all talking about marriage because our friend had just proposed to his girlfriend. Something just hit me. I put down my pool cue, cornered my wife against the back wall of the room, and said something like "So, would you marry me?" (In the context of the conversation, it made more sense then than it does now just out there by itself). She was so dumbfounded, all she could mutter was "I guess so..." Well that was 29+ years, and 5 kids ago. Funny, our friend never did marry that girl he had proposed to, and he's been married 3 times since.

My husband proposed on the 4th of July at the fireworks display, right before the big finish, he timed it perfectly!

my husband took me to his parents house for the weekend (we were in college) and we had spent the day out together and that night he asked me to look up some stuff for him on the computer and when i came upstairs he took me by the hand and led me to his room.. when he opened the door he had red rose petals all over the bed and floor, and 2 dozen red roses all over the room and candles lit everywhere! the teddy bear he gave me for our first valentine's day was on the bed with a rose in it's lap... he closed the door and got down on one knee.... well the rest is history... it was so romantic.. and so sweet.. i loved it!

afta sex one night we both looked at each otha n he said "u wanna get married" i said sure. and 2 weeks lata we did, been married 13 yrs as of november 10th 2006
