There's nothing you can do. Just accept that you took reasonable steps to prevent getting stretch marks and you still got them. Palmers can't guarantee you won't get them if you use their product.

You are a woman and this is what happens when you get pregnant. This is not Palmer's Cocoa Butter's fault. It doesn't matter how much cocoa butter that you use - if you are genetically programed (your skin's elasticity, mother & grandmother had stretch marks) you are going to get them anyways. Palmer's Cocoa Butter does not guarentee that you will NOT get ANY stretch marks. What it does say is that it will moisturize and smoothe stretched skin. Your can fade stretch marks after pregnancy with mederma scar remove. It's costly but I've heard that it does fade marks considerably. As for the fact that you have a strect mark - get over it. I have about a thousand and I only gained 18 lbs in pregnancy and used cocoa butter every day as well. What I would be more concernecd about is my child and enjoying the pregnancy. It's a beautiful experience, don't ruin it because of your vain outlook on strecth marks.
I wasn't trying to be rude througout any of this, I was just telling you how I personally feel because I was there as well. Have a great night and congratulations on the pregnancy.

I too used cocoa butter and vitamin e to prevent stretch marks, and just like you I thought things were going great. Until the final four weeks when I looked down and it looked like someone had clawed the heck out of me. I was so depressed. But I don't think you can blame the product, it only claims to help in the prevention of them. But the good new is that my stretch marks lightened up about a year and a half after my first son. Of course with the second son I got more but he just turned one and the new ones from him are almost faded out too. It is a total bummer though and I am completely with you there. But just wait once your holding your little angel it wont even matter. Congrats on the baby, and I hope you get a lot of sleep over the next four weeks.

There is no 100% way to prevent stretch marks, there are products to reduce the chance of them and afterwards to help them appear less noticeable. You could have lathered your belly 20 times a day everyday and still gotten them. Some people are just lucky and do not get them. As for suing the company, it would be a waste of time, both yuors and theirs, they would point out they do not say it will prevent all stretch marks, and then you would be sepnding money on a lawyer for no reason. Just be glad about the baby and NOT freaking about stretch marks, they happen!

Hello!
I am sorry to hear that you are very dissapointed with the stretchmarks. I'm in your case as well but I got more and went all around to my upper buttcheek! hehe Did I say too much?! Sorry!
But anyways, that is just part of life we go thru. Stretch mark is permanent because it is the stretching of your skin. The cells underneath it has been stretched far beyond its limits to where it causes a crease and thus expaned upwards or downwards. Those cells are completely damaged. There is no such product to help it prevent or take away marks BUT it does help relives the itcheness and prevent it from becoming darker. You will be ok because you're pregnant. You're body is just going thru some changes as to adapting to your body and as the baby gets bigger its going to stretch even more. It varies with everyone and some are luckier than others. But girl!!! Don't let it stress you out because its not worth it. You should see it as a battle mark!! You should be proud because you earned it! Imagine some women would love to have it because to them it shows a mark of being able to bear a child. Its also sad that women who can't have babies and those who are fortunate would complain. But all in all...it will be an emotional roller coaster of how you see your self image. Just learn to accept the fact that its there unless you can try plastic surgery. I can at least say that I am proud of my stretch marks...it maybe ugly but I don't care because I earned it!

Sweetie just roll with mother nature. no amount of Palmer's anything is going to stop her. I have 4 children and did what i could to keep the skin soft and supple to prevent stretch marks. and let me tell ya. At the moment my stomach looks like a map of a river system. So be grateful you only have one and stop complaining and being vein. Think about all the joy and happiness your baby is going to bring you. Not how awful you think you are going to look with a single stretch mark. I tell people they are a badge of honor in bringing life into this world and if the don't like the looks of them then turn the hell around and look somewhere else.

Hun, it doesn't matter how much you use the cocoa butter, you are still going to have a few stretch marks. Besides, I don't know about any other mothers out there, but I am very proud of my pregnancy stretch marks. You have carried your little one, and from the sounds of this, you have taken care of yourself so don't stress over a few marks. You're a mother-to-be, be proud of your body.

First, you should hit the caps lock button so that you stop screaming at everyone.
Next, you should chuck the expensive Plamer's lotion, and just use something mousterizing that smells nice, cause it'll amount to the same thing. If you tried to sue over a strech mark, you'd get laughed out of court.
There's no product that can gaurantee no strech marks, cause it's mostly a genetic thing. Either you'll get em, or ya won't. I didn't have any until around 30 weeks, and then after about 35 weeks, I stared getting more.
Don't worry about it. After you have the baby, you'll be too busy to care what your belly looks like, since you'll (hopefully) be worrying about taking care of a baby properly. You'll not be wearing any bikinis or belly shirts or anything anyway.
Call the company if you feel like it, but be aware that you'll feel really stupid for doing so in a week or so, and that after the company rep hangs up with you, they and all their friends will laugh at you over lunch.

No you can't blame the company. You can thank your mom or your grandmother for the genes you inherited.
I am very healthy, I eat a balanced diet, drink my ten glasses of H2O, workout etc. While pregnant I rubbed Cocoa butter and vitamin E oil on my stomach religiously, along with another $250.00 worth of creams prescribed by my dermatologist all pretty much in vain.
Like you, I was not showing until near the end of my pregnancy. I was in great shape before becoming pregnant, not overweight in the least, and I did not look visibly pregnant until the sixth or seventh month of my pregnancy.
Along with my belly came stretch marks. First it was just one, then two, then next thing you know I looked like a zebra. Oh I rubbed, and prayed, and spent money but they came anyway. It just happens. All you can do is keep rubbing the creams on, who knows maybe it'll work for you or maybe you'll only get one or two stretch marks. If not, my heart will be with you when you undergo the grief process of your once pretty belly.

I felt the same way when it happened to me but on the lotion it says for stretch marks helps prevent and REDUCE STRETCH MARKS. Don't get me wrong I understand how you feel me I'll be honest i cried because I was so upset, then I learned to live with them, I realized it was for a good cause.
