without giving too much personal info, I can say that some of the "matches" have been so-so. None have been completely off-base but I've been on it for about a year now and still have yet to find anyone with whom I"ve lasted longer than 5 dates on.
What I can say is that I work alot and frankly I'm letting them do the "recruiting" for me. I do the prescreening and go from there. Some guys have been totaly jerkwads but I was expecting that. So definately advise that you keep your guard up!!
One of my concerns is that it seems like I may go two weeks without a "match" then all of a sudden get like 10 in one day so don't really know what kind of system or routine they have going on for that.
Also some of the matches they send are not "members". And actually that's what I would advise you to do. I filled out the "never ending questionaire" ---no really it seems like its never gonna end-- then wait untill there's a few matches that are worth getting to know, and then join the shortest membership. (that's what I did and have been "strung along" since)
What I can say is that there are several people whom I've talked to that know of second or third hand people who've found they['re special someone through eharmony.

I'm not an eHarmony client, but a young man at our church is marying a girl he met on the site. He's from a very conservative home and had some pretty strict standards for his "dream woman". For that reason he was 35 and still single. Well, long story short, he did the free information application you fill out online and decided that it was worth the $45 or whatever it is to actually get names of potential matches. He honest to god found his dream girl just like the ad says may happen. We live in Virginia and the girl lives in Georgia. They are as sappily happy as those people that you see on the ad on TV. The people who know this young man had decided that he would just be a bachelor for life. Now he's brought her to church and they are going to be married in November. I guess stranger things than this happen every day. If I was single I would sure as HECK give it a try. Beats cruising for men at kareoke night at the local bar.

I haven't had any experiences, but from the commercials it seems credible. Try it. If you are skeptical, email Eharmony for more information. Good luck.

Knew a couple that met on eHarmony. They were so sweet together. They had actually gotten married. But they divorced so don't know what to tell you.
