I saw it. IT WAS GREAT. He doesn't even look like he hasn't fought in almost 2 years. He looks reaaalllll good to be an old man! Maybe the heavyweight division will improve now.

Holyfield is just the first of a blast from the past to make the headlines. Trust me, this former Russia supremacy(?) in the heavyweight division won't last long. Either one of the fighters who was held in high regard sometime over the last 8 to 10 years will come and clean up the mess that is the heavyweights, or, either you'll see another former champ back out there doing his thing. Good night......The fight was great, the atmosphere was unbelievable and Roberto Duran bought me a drink.

Has anyone listened to Evander give an interview lately? He's one of my favorite Heavyweight Champs all-time. I'm happy he won. Just hope he doesn't get hurt in his quest to make history. He and Meldric Taylor, two greats that didn't know when to hang em up. Meldric's even worse, you'd be hard pressed to understand 5% of what he says during an interview.

Yes. He looked good too in the ring since he has not fought in two years. Am excited to see him back. Holyfield rules. He's going to unify the belts once more just like he says(hope so).

If he could not beat Bates, it would be the end of Holyfield money train.

This is the worst thing that could've happened to him. Now he's going to step up in competition and eventually get killed.
