Less food is less weight right?

it depends on how much free time you have.

calories burned is mostly a function of distance. so regardless of if you walk 5 miles a day or jog it, you are pretty much doing the same work. a weight reduction happens in all areas of your body, you can't target it to just your stomach. but the weight reduction comes from buring more calories than you consumed.

so most ppl prefer jogging bc you are buring calories at a faster pace, you can get your 5 miles in in half the time as walking it. so if you have tons of free time, walking is great bc it's so low impact and your body can recover very quickly and no much risk of injury. the more impact you put your body through, i.e. jogging instead of walking or running instead of jogging, the more time you body needs to heal up. and the key to getting to the fat in your waist line is consistency. jogging 10 miles in one day isn't even that big a deal if you take 2 weeks to recover. slow and consistent is the way to go.

Jogging! I was jogging 4 miles a day last summer and I definatley noticed a reduction in my middle. I wish that I could say that I was still jogging 4 miles a day, but I'd be a big liar!

Jogging!

neither. body fat burns evenly all over the body, however some have the propensity to lose it faster from some parts.

jogging burns more calories, but is hard on the joints, so avoid if above 40.

walking is a time tested safe exercise which also burns adequate calories.
reduce your food intake, so you are able to burn more calories than you ingest, resulting in loos of weight.

also do strength exercises and muscle toning, as muscles burn more calories than fat.

all the best with your 'battle of the bulge'!

OK well your should do cardio exercises 3-5 times a week. Don't do them everyday, alternate every other day because if you do it Monday and then Tuesday you will be building the muscle so you work a different area of the body that day.

jogging burns more calories, so it may help to burn stomach fat faster. the perfect blend for losing stomach fat is the right amount of cardio + the right amount of strength training, which means alot of crunches and abdominal exercises. however, walking is also good because walking takes alot of trunk strength, especially if you are power walking or fast walking.

You should do both. I heard that if you do the same thing or repeat the same routine, it won't work as much as it is supposed to. Maybe walk on M,W,F and jog on T,Th, Sat. Rest on Sundays.
