I believe that people don't use their signals for a variety of reasons....they are lazy, inconsiderate, don't realize it's a law , (that you should signal when ever you are changing lanes) and recently I've noticed when I pull up along side people who have not used signals they often are talking on their cell phones and their other hand is on the steering wheel. Frankly, I don't know what bothers me more people who don't use their signals are those who are on the freeway and drive for miles...and miles with their signal on and ya just don't know if they're gonna switch lanes or not! In heaven I hope everyone use their signals because down here there are way too many A.. holes who drive like zombies!

I would love to have a bumper sticker printed that says, "Turn signals were not an option on your vehicle." This is one of my pet peeves, as I have been cut off several times by people not using a signal. If they had signaled, I would have been able to slow or speed up accordingly so they could have safely changed lanes. I always use a signal, even if pulling over to park on the side of the street. It is just common sense, and it is the law.

You want to see people who dont use turn signals! Come to Northern Wisconsin, where every other car is some idiot tourist from Illinois who doesnt know how to drive or be courteous on the road. I work for the local Police Department so believe me, I KNOW what kind of accidents happend from forgetting such a little thing.

Well I know here in LA if you use your turn signal the person in the other lane will speed up to close the gap and you will never get over. It is the unspoken rule on surface streets to not use it. It drives me crazy when people dont use their blinkers, but I have found this to be true here. City folk can be so inconsiderate.

I use my turn signals all of the time, even if there is no one else around. It is just a habit from driving for 27 years.
People who don't signal are either ignorant, lazy or too busy talking on their cell phones! It annoys the heck out of me!!!

I use them all the time because I'm a responsible driver, and those who don't are lazy and irresponsible. As a good defensive driver, you have to always watch other drivers and anticipate their actions, like changing lanes suddenly. We have at least 20 accidents a day in this town, none of them just a scratch either.

An age old question. How about when their signal is on and they don't turn?
In most semi trucks,the blinkers are silent. Plz keep that in mind before you pull out in front of one who has his blinker on. The driver might not know it's on.

I know. I hate it. I just told my mom about this issue this morning. Albeit I have only started to drive, I found that most people dont use their signals. It is such a pain for drivers! Dont you reckon?

Most people are used to talking on a cell phone.
When on a cell phone their hand is tied up with the phone.
Now they have just "lost the habit" of signaling.
Oh,and yes I "DO" use my signals 100% of the time!

I don't use them if no one else is around and I wish some people would turn them off after driving 20 miles on the freeway with them on!
