i work with a guy who i like and he flirts back alot, he lied to me about having a girlfriend and when she comes in he stopped talking to me and started insulting me with really hurtful things. couple weeks later his g/f starts talking s h i t bout me saying that he talks about me too much and flirts with me and stuff. if all that is true why would he do what he did to me? im sooo confused, plus we were kinda friends too.

Miss kisses this is simple he was caught out by his girl liking someone that he shouldn't so to justify this and also to have his girl think there is nothing going on in his dirty little mind he belittles you to make her think that you are not of any threat to her . it would be my guess that you were never to know that he said these things about you . he is playing you along . tell him to back off and go home to his girl and if he doesn't speak to you again no loss

Unfortunately he sounds like the kind of person who enjoys keeping others off balance. When he's at work, he probably enjoys the flirting and attention as much as you do. When he's with his girlfriend he doesn't want her to know how much he enjoys the flirting etc. However, it slips out at home, hence the 'he's always talking about you' comments. Equally, it could be that his girlfriend has a jealousy problems, he's mentioned you once or twice and that's once or twice too often for her.

I suggest you cool things down a little. He has a girlfriend and seems to have no intention of ending that relationship. Be a little self-protective and see how things work out.

he likes you...but he doesn't want his girlfriend to know...who needs that.. tell him to get lost...tell him to flirt with the water cooler...
