I'm the 20 year old. She's the 27 year old. I'm in college, and she's been my instructor all of last year. I'm studying to become a cop in criminal justice, and she just got done dating a cop. I need serious advice. Can it work? What are the signs that she's attracted to me?

While its not sick or disgusting if you were, say two years younger, it doesn't quite pass the smell test.

First you need to find out if your school has any rules to this effect. After some simular cases to yours, my college clarified the policy so that anyone who is in a position of a authority (like your instructor) should not engage in any inappropriate relationship with a student, even if the student is an adult.

It can probably work only after you ar no longer a student and she will no longer be in a position to influence your grade.
