Well said. Try to be a little calmer next time. You'll get more serious replys that way.

I don't think it'll ever be known which is right, the only thing we can do is assume.
But then again, why do we have so much theoretical proof for the Big Bang theroy and very very little for religion? Miracles like the 40 day and 40 night flood were only seen by very few people if more than 2 at all considering it was said it was 2 of all species and humans are a species. But for the Big Bang theory we have Black Energy, the force that is constantly expanding the universe and many more things that could be proven at any second. If you opened your mind and shut your mouth you'd actually see things and what it all comes up to in the end.

Don't you think that everyone is entitled to their own opinion. Or is everyone supposed to follow your belief? Just because some say it is so does not make it the right way! Which ever we believe, we can all agree that we were created or evolved with a brain to think for ourselves. I do not think that it is your place to degrade others for what they believe in.
P.S. Have you not seen the latest scientific studies that are actually disproving the "facts" of the bible.
Things like Jesus would have been nearly 10 by the time the wise men actually got to the manger. And that he was probably born April 17. There are priests studying the facts as we have been told all these years, and finding that most of them are impossible.

The entire Bible cannot be depended upon to be completely literally interpretted. There are too many contradictions. We can only gather out the truth that makes sense. For example, Judas is said to have died by natural causes in one Gospel, while he hanged himself in another. What are we then to believe? History isn't supposed to provide two different stories... This means that we can only properly conclude one thing: that Judas died.
As far as evolution goes, to each his own, but I personally believe that the theory of evolution is an accurate scientific discovery. I am also Christian, might I add, and so I thus believe that God began the universe, and was thus the one who set off the Big Bang.
Please hear me out. Do you also realize that you have accomplished nothing by insulting your audience? By calling the opposing argument stupid and insubstantial, you have become closeminded yourself and offered no point at all for the other person to bring up their opinion -- a valuable one at that. Be respectful of others, for that is what Jesus taught us to do. Treat others as you would treat yourself. If you honestly intend to persuade anyone to your opinion, you must first acknowledge the other person's as worth of your attention and respect.
May God bless you. =)

You wrote, "Anyways if you pathetic evolutionist want to show you aren't complete cowards and idiots step up to the table and show me your "proof".
I'm not interested in replying to your rage, but if you really want to understand evolution I highly recommend that you take a college level course in evolutionary biology and learn the basis for its importance to modern biology.
No religious text is scientific. That would require that their beliefs be verifiable and repudiate their claims of absolute truth. Science does not have absolute truths, nor does it want them because that would eliminate any possibility of improvement. But it can verify its truths, which religion cannot. And science leaves the door open to new ideas and creative improvements by not having some claim for absolute truths. Science does not depend on faith or beliefs but rather on what can be tested and verified.
You see what you want to see, but that doesn't mean it is there.
Good luck with your education. You have a long ways to go.

Don't you see? We have no need to prove you wrong. You are most welcome to the way you see things. We believe you have every right in the world to believe it, and will even defend your right to do so. But that same standard must apply to everyone. Don't try to change our minds, we won't try to change yours. When it comes down to being neighbors, or colleagues at work, or doctor/patient, whatever, our differences really do not matter. What matters is that we treat each other with respect and kindness. That's a universal truth everyone can agree on, don't you think?
I am not naive. I come to this position after being engaged in the religion wars for quite some time.
I, too, am so tired of hate spewage. Why not try to be part of the solution, instead of part of the problem?

Good evidence exists in your own body. Why do you have the gene for a tail? The bone structure for a tail? Our DNA matches very closely to that of a chimp, they are doing testing now to match chimps, neanderthals, and modern man, and see if there is even a closer match between all 3 now. Why do whales have fingers inside their fins? Why do fish who live in dark caverns with no use of the ability to see have eyes? I cannot prove there is no God, but I can prove that evolution appears to be rather apparent in the world around us. There is room to believe in God and Evolution maybe God just kick started the world and things evolved from that point. There are plenty of scientists who believe in God and yet also believe in Evolution

What exactly are evolutionists afraid of? Your "god"?
I'd be afraid of the Boogeyman if I believed in his existence, but that would just be silly. Kind of like believing in a magical man who created everything just by waving his hands around. You honestly believe that something as endlessly complex as this universe was just POOF! planned and built in a week by some dude who lives in the sky?
If you think that evolutionists don't have any proof, then you obviously need to get your head out of your fairy-tale "bible" book and try reading something that makes some bloody sense- like biology!

You just mentioned the Torah is the first five books of the bible......what part of the bible do you believe in....? Are you like many others and just take the parts that apply to you?
Maybe you need to learn a little more about the history of your faith, my friend.....there is no joy in being hypocritical

Don't antagonize people with different beliefs. Of course, speak your mind, but don't discredit what others have done, whether it be correct or in vain.
Most scientists don't disprove God but more to the point believe in different origins. And social sciences arent directly related to history, just as fables and tall tales are passed from word of mouth and of faithful beliefs, but they do give insight to philosophy and metaphysical ideas of the time and the past.

*sigh* every other day there is the inevitable bigot theist who tries to impose his/her belief on others. Having said that, Evolution is a theory which has undergone many tests and has been proven possible, if not likely. There is no way to prove creationism because according to the laws of physics, you can neither destroy nor create matter.
