No never I want to stay innocent forever. Of course I have drinken underage before but that don't mean I bought beer for somebody not even my cousin's who are underage. It's still illegal if you buy beer for your cousin if they are under 18. It's stupid buying beer for minors anyways it's not cool. If they want beer from you it means they are taking advantage of you and not really your friend plus if you do that buy beer for them then one of them could die from drinking beer too much and be in the hospital and who's fault is that you are killing the minor if you buy beer for them. Never do that it's not cool! That's why it's illegal.

The Laws weren't so strict when I was young and bought beer before my first morning class in Jr.High. Now I have too much to loose if I get cough buying beer for a minor.they should be able to buy it at 18.

Do i understand this minor? Is it in a managed concern? And are they even eating it? i understand some "minors" who're large cooks and may use beer in a recipe. i'd say certain, if I knew this underage individual, and could believe that they'd be to blame about it.

I haven't, but I have purchased alcohol underage and had people purchase it for me. My feeling is that it is a gray area. If a person is old enough to go to war, pay taxes, get married, and can legally enter a contract they are old enough to have a beer. Because of that I have no problem getting alcohol for college-aged kids. It is illegal, however I feel like if I use good judgement it isn't a major offense.

I used to buy beer for one particular minor---myself! I worked in a drive-thru beverage center and I often worked the register. I was always adamantly opposed to stealing, but I'd often sneak a case into my car, then ring myself up like a regular customer and put the cash in the till. ("Yeah, I look 21!")

My young son would take sips from my glass when he was in elementary school. I have never bought beer especially for him. I suppose there is a technical difference.

The real problem is with liability. If you buy liquor for minors and they go out and do something stupid like drive drunk and kill somebody, then you could end up being arrested. For most females, it's pretty darn easy to find an older guy who will buy it on your behalf. I wouldn't recommend doing it though.

I wouldn't, but my daughter knows kids in school that have parents that buy for the kid's parties, so those parties will be the "best" and all the kids will come. Duh, they are coming for free beer and nothing else. Stupid, stupid, stupid.
What kind of message does that send?
As an FYI, I did used to buy my own - back then the drinking age was 18, so it was pretty easy to pass for that.
