So far from what I've read and understood, they say it is very hard to get a visa. What others said:

*that many come only with a tourists visa and just end up saying.

*that work is hard to find in Mexico so its impossible to get a visa (is this true, do you need a job for a visa?).

* that they don't know why either. they wouldnt want to live in the US.

Pretty much what they have been saying is that getting a visa is very difficult and for some, impossible because they are so poor and their government is not helpful at all.

They also say a lot that many come and do not intend on staying, in fact they said many go to study and send back money and then leave, however with the situation, many end up staying.

One irony of stricter border enforcement is that we actually create long-term immigrants out of short-term immigrants. As much as Americans tend to believe everyone wants to live here, many people just want to come work here for a while, and then go home. However, without the ability to freely cross the border, they're not going to risk going home as coming back, even to visit friends and family, is expensive and dangerous - and increasingly more so as more troops are massed at the border.

How sad that we hurt everyone with the current setup. Except, of course, the big corporations who continue to get cheap labor while also getting fat govt. contracts to build detention centers (centers often built using this same labor).

It is difficult for them to get visas in part because so many come illegally that Mexico is not in the 'lottery' of unskilled visas. If they stopped coming illegally, they would have a better chance.

However, we need to limit how many poor people come because they take in services such as education MUCH more than they put in in taxes. That is why every developed country in the world restricts immigration of poor people. Mexico far more than we do.

The huge number of poor illegals in excess of those we agreed to pay for are draining education and health services for our own people. They don't have a 'right' to come here and make us pay for them any more than they have a 'right' to reach into our pockets and take the money that way. Worse, this dramatically impacts our own children's education and futures. We love our children and want a better life for them every bit as much as they want a better life for theirs, and WE are the ones footing the bill.

that was very smart of you. kudos.
from what i read it's the difficulty of obtaining an American visa and the lack of work in Mexico or the lack of viable work. it's a sad situation. but i am impressed that you took the time to ask the other side why ? their answers are very interesting. not too many people read in Spanish so i think your going to get a little flack about it.
