I'm a teacher at an inner city school and just trying to keep up. Besides the usual drugs I'm used to, I'm hearing more about "bars" amoung the students. Barbituate/sedative type drug would be my guess based on what I've seen already this year. I guess I need to keep current on this unfortunately.

No wonder you are smiling you are right. bars=2milligram xanax tablets. No other drugs . bars= 2 milligram xanax, they look like long little tablets with slices on them to break them off in 1/2 milligram measurements.

Yes it is Xanax bars that they are talkin about but beware Buspar bars have quite the same resemblence

real small white rows of square pills called xanax. they break off in pieces,usually 6 per row. a sedative for nerves.

well,we call xanax bars(which are the equivalent of 2 blue xanax)bars.if thats not it i havent heard of it either!
