I did ask this girl out who told me that she was seeing someone. She claimed that I was too slow in asking her out. Anyways, it turns out that she broke up her boyfriend. She called me that it just occured. I have a feeling that there is room for me. I still have my doubts as to whether to go for it or not. Note: she thinks I have a girlfriend but I really don't I feel like she's want to date me now bcos she just broke the old relationship. I am in a limbo here. please advice me, well meaning yahoo folks. Thanks.

Don't date her right away, you don't want to be the rebound man. Be her friend and give her some time.

there is 1 reason why u should be careful and 1 reason why u shouldn't worry. u should be careful because she might be using u to make him jealous. WAIT! don't fly over the handles! She might have liked u more and that's why she broke up with the other guy. About her thinking that u have a girl... sit down and talk to her. Tell her that u really like her and that there is nobody else u would rather be talking to right now and that u really like her but u need her to trust u. Then don't jump to fast but if she leans in to kiss u go for it... BUT... if u don't feel comfortable with kissing her or if she doesn't go for it first just leave it go. u don't want to make a move to fast since she just broke up with someone and didn't trust u at first. first, you really have to improve your vocabulary. That's really important. Second, ask her if you could take her out sometime so that she could get her mind off of her break up. Don't be aggressive about it. Just try to comfort her. That might work!!

all i can say is to tell her that you would like to date her , that you are currently free, but that you want to make sure that this is what she realy wants, you dont want to be the re-bound man, that if she wants to date you it has to be because she realy wants to get to know you. something like that, cause if she is already looking interested chances are that she might be on the re-bound, and that is not something you want to be in the middle of. good luck.
