Well my boyfriend and I have been dating for 4 years now, and this summer has been a hard one for us. I just feel like he doesn't love me the way he used to. we used to always talk about a future together and now he avoids it and wants to say nothing about it. This brings me to tears to say but I'm really starting to think that I deserve better. He's been kind of making me feel down about myself. This summer he went away and came back with a new best friend that happens to be a girl. There are rumours going around that he slept with her. After seeing text messages from her and email I asked him to stay away from her and then the next week I see photos of the two of them together. He has cheated on me before... Is he walking all over me?And its not that I have a problem finding guys, its just that he was my first love and he has been my first everything. And I have just planned my life around him... I love him but I want to make the right decision for the future... what should I

MAN, THAT'S A TOUGH ONE-- I BROKE UP WITH MY FIRST EVERYTHING AFTER WE WERE TOGETHER FOR 3 YEARS, AND HAD I NOT JUST ENDURED THE PAIN,THE CRYING, THE STARTING ALL OVER I WOULDN'T BE HAPPILY MARRIED FOR 5 YEARS NOW TO A GOOD GUY WHO IS WAY BETTER FOR ME AND TO ME. GOOD LUCK, SOMETIMES YOU JUST GOTTA JUMP AND HAVE ENOUGH HOPE AND FAITH THAT THERE IS BETTER OUT THERE. BEING TO COMFORTABLE CAN BE A TRAP, IT CAN MAKE YOU PUT UP WITH WHAT YOU KNOW ISN'T RIGHT, YOU JUST GOTTA OVERCOME THE FEAR OF BEING WITH OUT HIM---YOU CAN DO BAD ALL BY YOURSELF.

So you asked him to stay away from this girl and he didn't? What did he say when you asked? My best friend is a guy, and when I have a boyfriend, he will just have to accept that. But we have been friends for like eight years, that's not a new thing. I think you should be allowed to have friends of the opposite sex. Have you spend some time around him and this girl to get a feeling for what is going on? That's probably the best way to find out. It might not be fair to ask him not to be friends with her, but it's fair to ask to be invited along. If he won't include you then it's definitely time to move on.

Honestly, I hope that he isn't doing all of this, but i think you need confront him and find the truth. Even though the truth may hurt, if he is doing what you think he is, then you'll probably be better off without him. I to know how it is to lose your first love. So i understand where you're coming from on trying to make it work, but you're right in thinking towards the future and the future may not include him. I hope you figure everything out and good luck.

Okay...first mistake: staying with him after he cheated. Now he knows you'll be the one to fall back on should his new, and seemingly more interesting conquests not work out. Second mistake: telling him to stay away from her. Never tell a man that...they make a bee line for whatever you said don't do.

He's walking all over you, all right...in fact, I see a shoe print on your forehead.

Leave him, so he'll stop treating you like a loser, and the sooner you'll stop feeling like one! (And don't go back, even if he cries.)

First loves are always the hardest but eventually you have to know when to give up and I think now is the time. He seems to have fallen out of love with you and wants to move on. Maybe you just need to give up on him and forget about guys for a while.

I know it must be hard, since he was your first everything, but you need to move on because you do not deserve a cheater and someone who walks all over you. Start over and find somebody who really cares about you
Good Luck!!

You have allowed him to turn you in to a total tool, sorry, if you are serious about the sh*t then act like it and give him one more chance and if it goes the same way go get a better guy. girl360 is right.

That's very similar to my question, I say that you try to prove whether he loves you or not. I don't necessarily know how you'd go about that but come up with some way to see if he really likes you and not her.

He's taking advantage of you since he was your frist and all. Some men do that, and usually it means more to the girl, than the guy......but, maybe you should find that special someone who would be faithful to you......good luck!
