Back before I started giving myself the aerodynamic 'do you see in my avatar, I would really get peeved when a stylist would talk and gossip amongst her fellow stylists all the while ignoring me.
And there was one time when a stylist was talking on her cell phone while cutting my hair. Aarrgh!
And then there were the times when a stylist that regularly cut my hair wasn't in for whatever reason (illness, vacation, etc.) and I would get stuck with the resident fruity guy.
Nowadays, I don't have to put up with that...

They always wanna talk.
I would pay serious money for a stylist that would just be quiet and not talk so freakin much.
Not to mention the gossipy stylists that like to talk to you about this person and that person and like to laugh about other people when they are doing your hair....save it for the break room!!! That is so unprofessional and uncomfortable.
***I agree with Vonnie Dee. Please do not overschedule! I do not want to wait 2 hours on you while you're doing 3 other heads all at the same time. There is nothing worse than a beautician that schedules 3 people at the same doggone time!

I hate it when my stylist has two or three people they are working on at the same time. If that happens to me, I'm looking for another shop. It is never my intention to spend 4 or 5 or 8 hours in the shop when I only want a 90 minute service. That is enough to send me away from privately owned shops to chains like JCPenneys.

I hate going to a new stylist and they have all these great ideas for you but never talk price- you go to check out and almost get sick when they tell you the total- this REALLY happened to me two weeks ago!

That she and I cannot understand each other. Out here all of the stylists have these very thick accents; we spend half of the appointment asking each other to repeat everything. Lucky for me I don't come out bald or with my hair dyed blue.

I'd like my stylist to really listen to me!! She is totally sweet, and does an adequate job, but she does what she wants, not what I want.
Peace.

She's always multitasking with multiple clients at once, so it ends up taking longer than it should.
But my favorite has got to be when she washes my hair... it feels SO GOOD!
