I NEED Money!?

Question

We arnt the riches people in the world. My mom's paycheck comes from babysitting (isnt that much. Not even enought to buy a weeks worth of food) And my step dad works but his checks are getting smaller. His summer checks are about as much as his winter checks were. My real dad doesn't pay any money. Doesnt even call. This is hard. Really hard when my friends call and ask if i can go to 7-11 or to the mall. I can't! I cry ALL the time. My mom said she is going t o try to get a job when we go back to school. but everyone is losing jobs so it is going to be hard.So i want to know how to get money to at least enough to pay for 7-11.

I am 11! And plz dont be mean about it! thnx

You didn't say how old you are so this is hard to answer Can you go back to your question and add details..... tell us how old you are. maybe someone out here can give you some solid advice....If you are 11, no one can expect you to get a job......not even a good idea....I suggest you go to your school counselor and see if child support can be obtained through a court order. You deserve that your biological dad pay your mom child support. if your counselor doesn't know where to send you, you can always contact the local court and ask for a judge to talk to.

Hi, Sorry to read about your situation, just be positive in everything you do. Now, I don't know your age, so i can't give you the best advice without know more about yourself.
Here are some suggtions, I got my first job when i was 11 years old,
I was a paperboy in my neighbourhood, It was hard in the beginning, but with all the tips you get it was finally fun, but it was a pain in the a*s in the winter. However I was 11 and i made my first 1000 dollars. Or to make things short get a job after school.

Well your options all depends on how old you are. If you're old enough (at least 18) then you can donate plasma at a local blood bank. (Look up blood bank in the phone book). Most of them pay you at least $20-$40 each time you donate blood, up to twice a week. Im sure $40-$80 a week is good enough spending money for you. You and your mom could both do it. Not to mention you'll be saving lives. Also, you could start babysitting yourself (again depending on your age). Be creative...think of your best skills and it'll come to you.

Get a job at the 7/11 or the mall. That way you can make money and be at those places at the same time!

Me and my sisters used to bake apple pie, milk tart, and cup cakes. Although you don't get milk tart in America you can always bake pumpkin pie. That way you can even get experience in cooking (it helped us a lot).
If you can get a little money together just to start it will pay itself back, but then you have to ask the right price aswell.
For example: if you use 2 cups of flower, divide the whole bag of flower into cups to determine how many cups are in a bag. Then divide the price of the bag of flower by the amount of cup that are in the bag.

Don't forget to add som profit, don't be shy but don't go overboard.

Are you old enough to babysit? Maybe on the weekend? Or good at any subject in school where you could earn a little by tutoring? I know it is hard. Things will get better.

Do some babysitting, pet sitting, house sitting, etc. Or if you are old enough, get a job (part-time, school comes first).
